In the duo SYSTRAR - Swedish for sisters - a dialogue arises between two instruments with their own colour and tradition: diatonic accordion and grand piano.
The concert programme #1 Time Travel swings between classical, baroque and folk. Sometimes the piano of classically trained Véronique Rubens takes the accordion in tow. At other times, the latest compositions by folk musician Pascale Rubens get extra colours on the piano.
A concert in three sets with music that spans four centuries, including William Byrd, Henry Purcell, Maurice Ravel and Pascale Rubens.
